Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Prezi Terhadap Literasi Sains Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract
The low level of science literacy among elementary school students is one of the issues that
requires attention in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based
Learning (PBL) model, supported by Prezi, on the science literacy of fourth-grade elementary school
students. This study is a quasiexperimental study using a Posttest-Only Control Group design. The
study population consisted of all fourth-grade elementary school students in the Batu Kandik Cluster,
Nusa Penida District. The sample consisted of 25 fourth-grade students from Batu Kandik 1 Public
Elementary School as the experimental group and 28 fourth-grade students from Batu Kandik 2 Public
Elementary School as the control group. Science literacy data were collected using a multiple-choice
objective test that met validity and reliability criteria. The data were analyzed using an independent
samples t-test. The results showed that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Prezi
had a significant effect on students’ science literacy, with a t-value of 8.309 and a significance level of
0.001 (p < 0.05). This study indicates that the implementation of the PBL model supported by Prezi
can serve as an effective alternative learning method to improve science literacy among elementary
school students.
