Abstract

Penguatan kompetensi kewirausahaan menjadi salah satu instrument penting untuk memperbaiki kualitas lulusan Perguruan Tinggi (PT). Penekanan pada kompetensi, karena hal itu yang menjadikan mahasiswa atau individu unggul dalam melaksankan seluruh proses bisnis. Karena maksud tersebut, maka kajian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi kewirausahaan mahasiswa. Kajian ini penting sebagai salah satu input dalam merancang pembelajaran kewirausahaan yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ServQual, melalui perbandingan kompetensi kewirausahaan antara ‘harapan†dengan ‘kenyataanâ€. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 310 mahasiswa, yang diambil secara stratified accidental sampling pada  6 (enam) PT di Indonesia, dengan memperhatikan  kelompok bidang ilmu sosial humaniora (Soshum) dengan sains dan teknologi (Saintek). Instrumen pengumpulan data kompetensi kewirausahaan menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skala likert. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis comparative. Hasil kajian menyimpulkan bahwa kompetensi kewirausahaan mahasiswa masih rendah. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara dimensi harapan dengan kenyataan, dimana nilai kenyataan lebih rendah. Implikasinya bahwa temuan ini menjadi acuan penting dalam merancang dan mengelola pembelajaran kewirausahaan di PT.
