Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy eksperimental dengan desain posttest only control group design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Bima tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Populasi penelitian yaitu kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Bima dengan sampel kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengukuran hasil belajar dilakukan dengan memberikan tes hasil belajar sebanyak lima soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis powerpoint terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV) siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Bima tahun ajaran 2022/2023, dimana rata-rata hasil belajar matematika kelas ekperimen lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar matematika kelas kontrol. Uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa selisih hasil pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi dan penerapan media powerpoint mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 69%.
