Abstract

Capaian pembelajaran yang diharapkan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka (IKM) pada pembelajaran fisika terdiri dari elemen pemahaman dan keterampilan proses sains. Keterampilan proses sains siswa sangat penting untuk dilatih karena penerapan kurikulum merdeka menekankan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Adapun indikator keterampilan proses sains yaitu mengamati, memprediksi, merencanakan penyelidikan, menganalisis, mencipta, dan mengkomunikasikan. Salah satu aspek penting yang harus dilatih pada siswa yang akan menjadi generasi penerus yang dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam masyarakat global adalah keterampilan abad 21. Pendekatan STEAM dapat menjadi inovasi dalam pembelajaran fisika yang dapat melatih dan meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan keterampilan abad 21. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan abad 21 dan keterampilan proses sains siswa ditinjau dari pembelajaran fisika yang dengan pendekatan/terintegrasi STEAM. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penilaian kualitatif dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data yaitu tinjauan pustaka. Sumber literatur didapatkan dari jurnal-jurnal terakreditasi dari Google Scholar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada penelitian ini disimpulkan pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan STEAM dapat meningkatkan serta melatih keterampilan abad 21 dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Keterampilan proses sains yang meningkat dapat melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis, berpikir logis, dan memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk menghadapi perkembangan zaman pada abad 21.
