Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat di SDN Inpres Hidirasa Kecamatan Wera Kabupaten Bima. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui proses mengumpulkan data, pereduksi data, penyajikan data, penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui proses pembelajaran seperti: membiasakan berdoa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran, memecahkan masalah baik secara kelompok maupun individu, memberanikan diri bertanya maupun berpendapat, dan mengerjakan tugas individu pada buku siswa. Melalui pembiasaan/keteladanan seperti: yasinan, hafal ayat pendek dan kultum, kerja bakti membersihkan halaman sekolah, pertemuan antar kelas (class meeting), upacara bendera setiap hari Senin, dan praktek salat. Selanjutnya, pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti: belajar tarian daerah, olahraga masing-masing kelas, dan olahraga wajib seluruh kelas setiap hari Sabtu. Faktor pendukung, adanya program jangka menengah maupun jangka panjang yang di programkan seperti disiplin waktu, kegiatan religius, olahraga, dan belajar kesenian tari daerah. Faktor penghambat, sarana dan prasarana kurang memadai, masih kurang kesadaran orang tua, dan masih kurang pahamnya guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013.
