  • Enhanced Manuscript Selection Standards and Publication Policy of JPPIPA

    Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers of the Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA (JPPIPA),

    As part of our continuous commitment to improving the quality, reputation, and scholarly impact of our publications, the Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan IPA (JPPIPA), Postgraduate University of Matama, will implement more rigorous editorial and manuscript selection standards.

    Starting from Volume 12, Issue 8 (2026), JPPIPA will publish no more than 50 articles per issue.

    In line with this policy, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a more rigorous selection process, with particular attention to:

    1. Relevance to the Focus and Scope of JPPIPA;
    2. Clarity of the research gap and novelty of the study;
    3. Quality and appropriateness of the research methodology;
    4. Depth and quality of the analysis and discussion;
    5. Scientific contribution and significance of the findings;
    6. Quality, relevance, and currency of the references; and
    7. Compliance with JPPIPA’s Author Guidelines and publication ethics.

    This policy reflects JPPIPA’s commitment to prioritizing publication quality over quantity, strengthening the academic standards of published articles, and enhancing the journal’s scholarly reputation and impact at both national and international levels.

    Under this policy, manuscripts that meet the basic administrative requirements are not automatically guaranteed to proceed to the peer-review stage. The Editorial Team may reject manuscripts at the initial editorial screening (desk evaluation) if they do not sufficiently meet JPPIPA’s standards regarding quality, novelty, scientific contribution, relevance, and scope.

    Prospective authors are therefore strongly encouraged to prepare their manuscripts carefully and ensure that their submissions demonstrate a clearly defined research gap, strong novelty, rigorous methodology, comprehensive discussion, and significant scientific contribution.

    This policy will take effect beginning with Volume 12, Issue 8 (2026).
